The Legends Club vs The Empire Club - 2 Man Scramble Match play format. Each player on the 2-man team hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better until the ball is in the cup! A couple rules: players are allowed to place their ball within one club length of the selected spot (no closer to the hole). Additionally, players cannot change which cut of grass their ball is in (i.e. you cannot place your ball in the fairway if your marker is in the rough). The players proceed in a similar fashion for each shot until they hole out. Each pairing can earn a GRAND total of 3 points for their team.  1 point will be awarded to the team of two for the front nine, the back nine, and the overall 18. This is MATCH play.  You either win, lose, or push on each hole. Strokes don’t matter overall you start fresh at each hole.  In the event of a tie on any of the 3 matchups those teams will split the point and be awarded 1/2 a point towards the total team score. For example, if Team A wins the front 9 and then ties the back nine with Team B, Team A will be awarded 2.5 points (front 9 win, overall win, tying back 9) while Team B would be awarded .5 points (tying back 9).The lowest scoring twosome on the winning team brings the trophy home with them!!!
